SOMEONE GAVE ME THIS CARRIER AT MY BABY SHOWER AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO USE IT. CAN YOU HELP ME?
Yes, we can! Our peer educators have extensive knowledge of many types of carriers. Bring your carrier with you to a meeting and our educators will help you adjust and use your carrier.
WHAT DO YOU DO AT A MEETING?
Meetings are typically semi-structured. When you walk in a volunteer will great you, ask what you came to receive help with and then match you with an educator who can meet your specific needs. Depending on the size of a meeting you may be viewing a demonstration with multiple caregivers or receive one-on-one hands on assistance. Our volunteer educators will give you assistance with any carriers you may have brough with you, ask you questions about your needs and age of children, offer reccomendations and demonstrate with carriers from our library.
